When you become a boarding buddy, you are helping one of our rescue dogs have a safe place to stay and a whole lot of fun too!
Why do we board dogs?
While we strive to have all of our foster dogs residing in foster homes, sometimes we have to turn to boarding. Sometimes it's because the dog would benefit from board and train to prepare for a home. Other times it could be because a foster fell through for a dog and no new foster has come forward. We also rely on boarding when a foster has an emergency or goes on vacation.
What does it cost to board?
Boarding costs can vary but we are currently averaging $800 a month for 2 dogs in boarding full time! As a small, non-profit, we are 100% reliant on donations and fundraisers to pay these costs. When we have to pay for boarding, that's less money we have to use to help other dogs who need us. Tutsi and Snow are waiting for a foster or an adopter. They are ready to go home and we'd love to get them out of boarding....but we have no place for them to go.
What do they do in boarding?
Right now, we board our dogs at The Doggie Inn. The dogs have access to a gorgeous, wooded setting and go hiking, walk on treadmills, play in ponds, romp through an agility course and attend doggie socials. They also brush up on their doggie manners while they are waiting for a forever home.

Boarding Buddy's who choose re-occurring donations or boarding for a week will receive reduced entry to our next large event.
